Get Involved

publicCreating a meaningful transit plan for Nashville’s future requires meaningful input from the people who will be living, working, and playing here over the next several decades. This is where you come in. If you are a current transit rider, we want to know what you like about existing services, what you don’t like so that we can address those issues, and what new services and facilities you would like to see. If you don’t now ride MTA, we would like to know what types of improvements would be necessary for you to want to ride. Try out our interactive web applications, take a survey, attend project events, and most of all, let us know what you think. Nashville nMotion’s success depends on widespread community participation. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Throughout nMotion, the MTA/RTA will be releasing reports and materials.  We want to hear what you think of these materials. If you are interested in commenting on our materials please visit our discussion forum.

  • If you’re interested in having someone from MTA come speak to your business or organization about the nMotion process, you can request a “Transit Talk.” For a list of upcoming Transit Talks, please visit our Events page.

  • If you’re organizing an event for more than 50 people, you can also request the nMotion BusOur nMotion Bus is outfitted with information about Nashville nMotion and can travel to various locations and special events throughout the region.

  • Community Meetings will be held throughout the course of the project to present our work and talk to you one-on-one. Check our events page for more details or sign up to receive a notification.
