This report in the Transit Strategies Series explores service to airports. Air travelers have unique transit needs in terms of when they travel, how they value time versus price, and their familiarity, or lack thereof of, with local transit services. The most effective airport services provide fast and frequent service seven days a week from early until late.
What do you think? How can Nashville MTA improve service to the airport?

We are in our 70’s and travel via plane a lot; and take the bus from Waverly/Belmont to airport each time. We don’t see a lot of people taking the bus to the airport even thou there should be a lot given the cheap cost and relative convenience. Drawback is the route is a local not an express. Publicize/market an express and at $1.70 and see what happens.

It sounds like a great opportunity to get the Metro Airport Authority, global corporations and airlines to fund. They need it most!
